Wherever we come from, mentally or physically, we have a choice in life to actively seek the positive and uplifting. Sometimes, there is no denying – that’s bloody hard. But I happen to believe we shouldn’t give in.

There are more inspiring vistas to be found in the everyday. If we look for them.

There are wonders in nature, wonders in people and the human spirit, and moments of inspiration hiding in the most unassuming, and frankly, often rather silly places.

Human beings, our weird and wonderfully diverse brains, together with the world of nature, are an infinite source of inspiration, amusement and escape.

When we immerse ourselves in nature, when we embrace wilder thinking, when we set out determined to find beauty and refuge in the simple things, and in the silly things that life has to offer, we heal, and nurture our senses.

It doesn’t have to be revolutionary to make a difference.
